About me
I'm Pablo, a Valencian local and scientist with a PhD background, and someone who knows firsthand what it feels like to live in a country where you don't speak the language.
I spent 8 years living and working in Poland. My Polish was never fluent, and even though many places spoke English, there were countless moments where I felt completely lost. Government offices, lease negotiations, dealing with a landlord, small everyday situations where the language barrier suddenly felt enormous. I know that specific kind of frustration: being capable, educated, and confident in your own language, and feeling helpless in someone else's.
That's exactly why I do this. When I help an expat in Valencia, I'm not just translating words. I'm removing the stress that comes from not knowing what's happening around you, not knowing if you're signing the right thing, not knowing who to trust.
